JUNE: Kids Click Photography Workshop
Instructors: Skyler Lovelace & Stacey Schofield
Meets 4 weeks, Monday - Thursday, 11 am - 12:30 pm
Do you understand what's inside your digital camera? You will, after you take this class! You'll learn about camera functions, such as shutter speed, aperture, and focus--and you'll find out what all those knobs, buttons and LCD menus do. Then the fun starts as we take all kinds of photos!

JULY: Kids Vids Video Workshop

Meets 4 weeks, Monday - Thursday, 11 am - 12:30 pm
Join us as we create some crazy video tricks, gags and gimmicks, all with Pixel Time's Flip camcorders and iMovie on the Macs. Every week you'll make a different fun movie and publish it to our online movie gallery. Some of the movies include
- Snap! People appear & disappear
- Time Warp: People slo-o-o-w down and speed up
- Defy the Laws (of Physics): Stage some scenes that defy gravity
- Boxcar Racing
- Mr. Sound Effects
- Music Video Style

JUNE: Game Design 1
Instructor: Seth Etter
Meets 4 weeks, Monday - Thursday, 1 pm - 12:30 pm
Don't just play games, make them! Learn about the free and low-cost game engines available to create games. You'll learn a lot about game making, from how to tell a story to how to tweak characters. Game learn how to make menus, control movement, and set up scoring. Along the way you'll make some cool graphics and animations for your game
Enjoy seeing and playing the games others make in class, too. We use no-cost/low-cost software so you can continue making games at home.
JUNE and JULY: Game Design 1 and 2

Meets 8 weeks, Monday - Thursday, 1 pm - 12:30 pm
We know it takes time to design and develop a game, so we're offering this extended, 8-week version of the class at a special rate. This class is for students who want to build on the skills in Game Design 1, and publish their finished games.
Please note: No class the week of July 2nd.
JUNE: Digital Scrappers
Instructors: Skyler Lovelace & Stacey Schofield
Meets 4 weeks, Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 4:30 pm
Create a digital scrapbook all about your awesome life. We'll use Photoshop Elements to create cool personallized pages. In each class, we'll use digital kits, including dozens of awesome papers and embellishments. You'll learn about taking photos for scrapbooking, managing files on a computer, and saving a printing photos. Topics include
- Portraits of people
- Telling stories with photos
- Photoshop Elements basics
- Self-portrait: When you're the center of attention
- Group photos: The gang's all here
- Photo effects: Beautiful blends
- Text effects: Fun with fonts
- Colorizing photos for fun
JULY: Copic Marker Magic
Instructors: Skyler Lovelace & Stacey Schofield
Meets 4 weeks, Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 4:30 pm
Copic markers are professional design markers--you'll learn what makes them so great as we create a variety of projects for you to keep.
- Copic basics: Colors, blends, and textures
- Cards: Make a different greeting card every dfay
- Copics and stamps: Color stamped images
- Pixels and ink: Create on the computer, print and then color
- Cartooning with Copics: Learn anime and comic book styles
